Review "Labyrinth" by Kate Mosse
Another grail book? Yes.
Ms. Mosse has written an entertaining piece of historical fiction. Her focus is on two parallel stories and two heroines - one in modern times and one in medieval times. Both stories are set in southern France. The story centers around the Cathars and how the Church declared a Crusade against them (the only Crusade against Christians) and the impact of that Crusade on one family and its future descendants.
The heroines (bother modern and medieval) seek to obtain / protect the secret of the Grail and to protect it from evil conspiracies. The two parallel stories switch back and forth regularly but I liked the medieval story better.
If you enjoyed the "Da Vinci Code" and / or "The Templar Legacy" then you will enjoy this book. It is not great literature but is entertaining most of the way through.
